Thanks to Virgil’s touch, LV was able to explore its street credibility like never before. While remaining polished and elegant, this new Louis Vuitton collection unveils the perfect match between luxury apparel and streetwear.

Graphic printed jackets, to-kill-for-side-bags, tactical vests, where-did-you-copped-that-duffle-bags among other dope accessories. There were many other surprises were at the show that took place at the sumptuous Palais Royal in Paris.

The coats are out of this world if you ask me. What really made the runway stand out was the accessories. The collection provided a bag for every occasion, event, outfit or circumstances and this where the ”utility against fanfare” mindset of Virgil went to war I believe.

The world was definitely skeptical when he got nominated as the head designer for LV’s menwear  division. Fast forward today, Virgil Abloh proved once again that no ”Fashion School” in the world can teach you how to be in tune with the current, the real, the raw.

This new Louis Vuitton collection was more than just a runway. It was the reaffirmation that everything is possible, that you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to.

Virgil definitely came a long way from the ”Pyrex” days. The designer got more mature, did more research and reinvented himself in the process.

It was a moment not only for the new head of meanswear at Louis Vuitton but also for his close friends and associates. Indeed, as runway models, they had Kid Cudi, Asap Na$t, Playboi Carti and many more.

It was a brother moment for Ye & Virgil and as this video surfaced; we can admire their journey even more
