McGregor Took His Brand & Style To A New Level With His Infamous “Fuck You” Suit!

Tony Montana once said : “You need people like me so you can point your fuckin’ fingers and say, “That’s the bad” ” and Conor McGregor seems to live by this ultimate rule.

Yesterday, he was on promo run for his fight against the boxing legend Floyd Mayweather. For the first time in history, a champion from the UFC and the boxing world were facing off.  McGregor wanted us to remember this forever.

Everybody is still wondering how he pulled this whole “fight of the century” card on us.  Sports maniacs are secretly wishing for him to get beat up but through it all McGregor remains….McGregor!

Yes ladies and gentlemen, what seemed to be simple white stripes on a suit turned out to be the words “Fuck You” lined up back to back.

While the whole world was only stuck on the disrespect itself, I had to give him props for him being bold and authentic to his brand.

Today we will overview some life lessons that the most loved and hated Irish MMA fighter in the world taught us yesterday.

Don’t Be Scared Of The “Big Mouth” Syndrome

Confidence is often mistaken for arrogance these days. McGregor is often caught up between the lines but one thing he truly knows in life is how to benefit from the “Big Mouth” syndrome.

We live in a world where we’re often underestimated, lack validation from our peers or people just don’t see our potential.  You have to plant this seed yourself, either by your actions or how you present yourself.

McGregor knows this very well (a little too well actually). You will often hear him rant about how “motherfuckers” don’t got “shit” on him. Even though it comes out pretty harsh at times, we just have to pay attention to him so he can show and prove himself later.

If You’re Confident Enough To Say It Loud, You Will Be Confident Enough To Prove It!

If it wasn’t for his big mouth (and the tremendous amount of money that will be made of course), Conor would’ve never had the shot to go against an undefeated champ like Mayweather. Like it or not, a big mouth can take you far when you know how to use it.

Making Statements Is One Thing But…Timing Is EVERYTHING

I’m a firm believer that there’s a Hip Hop track for everything in life. Enimem famously said “You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow” and it stuck with me to this day.

The stunt that Mr. Conor pulled off yesterday is much more than a fashion statement or a PR move. It was bold enough to make his name ring bells regardless of the outcome of the fight.

No matter how bad the situation can turn out, he found his way to control the dialog and to leave his imprint in a different way.

When opportunities arise, you can be excited all you want but always remember to make the most out of them before you jump.

Should you come to a life changing meeting in a “Fuck You” suit? It always depends on what you want to put out in the universe but the key here is to be true to who you are and choose the right T-I-M-I-N-G.

Ps: I’m getting my “Content Is King” suit ready for the day Nike wants to holla!

Let Your Style Do The Talking

If there’s one thing we have to remember from the “Fuck You” suit is this : an outfit is much more than an actual outfit. Indeed, your clothes have the power to deliver your message to the world.

As long as you’re confident and comfortable with the message you’re trying to deliver, the world is yours! If you don’t believe ask McGregor how he felt after the promo run (we all know he laughed all the way home right?)

What Do You Think?

As mentioned earlier as a fighter and public figure, Conor made a name for himself with his trash talks and provocative attitude but do you think he went too far? Would you rock a “Fuck You” suit?
